Free Wordpress Theme – Ranalogy
Our new theme for this month “Ranalogy Magazine”
This theme are Maroon Red colored theme. Its come with Automatic Thumbnail Picture (it will take the first picture in your post), Valid CSS/XHTML, Widgetized sidebars, Ad space for 125 x 125 px, 250 x 250 px and 468 x 60 px, Social Bookmarking, Gravatar Ready, Compatible with IE7, Firefox 3, Opera and Safari, Compatible with the latest Wordpress 2.9 and last but not least custom PSD logo file included with the theme file. Option Theme Setting also included at the wordpress dashboard. So it’s will give our theme easy to use and setting.
Ranalogy Magazine is a free theme under license Creative Commons without removing copyright link at the footer.
How To Install
Download the theme file and extract the zip file then upload the theme directory to your theme directory in wp-content/themes. After that apply it on your wordpress dashboard in menu Appearance then setting the theme at your wordpress dashboard panel.

I have this installed on a local system and I can not get an image to show in the featured area like it shows in the demo. The scroll bar does disappear and the link works but I only see a blank red space with no image. Any clue?

do you setting this theme at Ranalogy Option Panel at your wp dashbord
Yes in the control panel I have it set to uncategorized and the number set to 1. now I know what is the problem.
try add another post at the same category. Don’t forget to set number at the option page more than 1. This gallery not full function if you set number of post = 1. Hope this will help :)
Sweet that worked great. Next question if you do not mind. when the post is viewed as a single page the text does not float up and stays at the bottom of the image. ok if you want your picture align to left, you just add this code to your picture ‘class=”left”‘ (inside the < img > code). you can place it on html view at wp dashboards.
if you want align to center or right, just change the code to “center” or “right”.

Thank you. I looked at the source code of the demo page to get the proper layout. Just a FYI that you may want to include in your Read first text file. timthumb.php was being blocked from running by my hosting provider. I had to call them and they “white listed” it so the script could run. In case someone has an issue that the image is not showing up, they may want to look into this. Thanks again.

One more peace of info that may help some people. I have found that the gallery does not work “at least for me” if the category name has spaces in it. I had to make a special category called featured and added all the post to it that I wanted to be in the gallery. Once I did this the gallery worked fine.

Another question for you :) Have you seen that if you have 2 images in the gallery that are of 2 different sizes “one 150×150 and another 175×175 or any size bigger than 150″, that they both appear on top of one another? If you have 3 images Image 1 shows fine then image 2 shows on top of image 1, then image 1 disappears and image 3 shows on top of image 2 and so on. Or is this only me? Next I see there is a new version of JD Gallery and Mootools. Are you going to make a release to use these new versions?
for the image on gallery, if 1 image smaller than another image it will show at the top of another image. so you must have same size on each image :). for the new version of JD Gallery and Mootools, I’m still working on it. Problem with image different size will fix on JD Gallery 2.0 versions

now im searching for good domain name, and i dont have yet nice domain so i will later(when i start with my website) i will use your igadget (best theme i ever seen) on my web site

how do i make it so that an image will show the full in the gallery w600 x h 250 but in the post preview will show thumbnail 150×150 and in teh actulay post will show thumbnail but in gallery slider on front page will show 600 x 250
how do i do this

to make your gallery image 600×250, your post picture must be same size or bigger than 600×250. Thanks

in your ftp, right click on your cache directory. select permission and change it to 777.
i did it but still the images of the boxes don’t appear.
Any suggestion?

All image in your post must uploaded inside your wp dashbords. you cannot use outside URL or images hosted in other site.
